This article applies to the Dodge Ram (2009-present).

Side mirrors serve an important purpose, enabling you to see that car looming at the rear quarter panel while you drive down the interstate at high speed. They also have a tendency to find the wall of your garage or people who blindly walk into them. Because side mirrors jut out and are often made of plastic and glass, they are also have a habit of breaking. Replacing a side mirror on your Dodge Ram may not be as easy as it used to be (thanks to heated and power elements), but it's still an easy task anyone can complete in a short amount of time with few tools. Keep reading and we'll guide you through the process.

  • Small flat head screwdriver
  • Phillips screwdriver

  • Release the clip that holds the mirror in place and remove it.
