Fast and Furious Series - Toretto's 2009 Challenger SRT-8

The iconic Fast and Furious franchise features a classic Charger as Dom Toretto's vehicle at several points throughout. But another Dodge muscle car that makes a glamorous appearance in Fast 6 is the main character's 2008 Challenger SRT-8. Toretto's custom Challenger has aesthetic cues from the aforementioned Charger. And it can be seen alongside Brian O'Conner's Nissan GT-R, which is also a modern version of a vehicle he drives in earlier movies in the series.

Nightcrawler - 2014 Challenger SRT-8 392

Nightcrawler follows the journey of a stringer who crawls the streets of Los Angeles after hours to record violent crimes and sell the footage to news organizations. The 2014 thriller features a beautiful Challenger SRT 392, which the main character acquires to use as his nimble mode of transportation while he's on the hunt for footage.

Death Proof - 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Magnum

In classic Quentin Tarantino Fashion, Death Proof tells a story that involves lots of violence. One of the prominent features of this picture is the presence of a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Magnum, which sees quite a bit of action in several sequences throughout the movie.

Nobody - 1972 Dodge Challenger

Bob Odenkirk of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame made his debut as an action movie star with his role in the 2021 movie Nobody. He portrays Hutch Mansell, a supposedly tamed family man who begins to show his true colors after having been the victim of a burglary. He can be seen using a 1972 Challenger, which the character inherited in the film. Interestingly, Mansell describes the car as having a 4.9-liter V9, which has provoked Dodge aficionados who have been quick to point out that no such engine was offered with the Challenger in 1972.

Blacklight - Dodge Challenger Demon

The most recent film on this list of pictures starring Challengers is Blacklight. This 2022 action movie features the incomparable Liam Neeson as Travis Block, a government secret agent who discovers a plot that could bring harm to the American people, at which point he finds himself in a battle against the FBI. His choice of a Dodge Demon as a vehicle establishes the character as an unequivocal badass.
