Drivetrain

Under the hood sits a matching-numbers 426ci V8 engine with hemispherical-chambered cylinder heads - the iconic Hemi powerplant. This unit was rebuilt by renowned drag racer "Dandy" Dick Landy in 2000. The engine pumps out 425 horsepower which is all sent through a 4-speed manual transmission.

Rare Transmission

Restoration

This model underwent a rotisserie restoration using only factory or NOS parts. The restoration was completed in 2014 and this Coronet has obviously been well looked after since then.

Interior

Inside you'll find this Coronet's jet black interior is just as well-kept as its exterior. It's been fitted with a woodgrain steering wheel, R22 AM/8-track player, and a light group. No expense was spared when creating this car back in 1970.

Paperwork

Included in the sale are the car's broadcast sheet and its Chrysler Registry report. As you'd hope with a car this rare, its history goes back to the original purchaser.

Very Rare

This Coronet, with its V88 transverse stripe delete, isn't just rare because of its 4-speed manual transmission. It's one just 13 Hemi Coronet R/T's built-in 1970, as the 426 ci Street Hemi was an expensive option at the time of production. This model has placed 15th on a rarest Muscle Car list.
