A Stunning Disguise

In a remarkable twist of automotive creativity, a 2017 Dodge Challenger has emerged from the shadows, embracing a completely new identity. This daring transformation takes the Challenger's modern muscle and wraps it in the nostalgic charm of a 1969 Chevy Camaro.

Unveiling the Illusion

The metamorphosis begins at the front, where the Challenger's distinctive grille is replaced by the iconic Camaro-style grille. The classic quad headlights give way to a singular headlight design, harkening back to the aforementioned GM muscle car. The body's lines, now reminiscent of the original Camaro, infuse the Challenger with a newfound vintage allure.

A Visual Feast

A six-inch widebody kit swathed in a deep matte gray finish that exudes an air of mystique. Blacked-out 5-spoke wheels further add to the aesthetic. At the rear, while the Dodge tail lights remain, everything around them has been reconfigured to make them look right at home at the rear of the car it's trying to mimic.

Unchanged Power and Performance

Beneath the beguiling exterior, the 2017 Challenger retains its mechanical elements, including the original 5.7-liter HEMI engine, boasting 375 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. The HEMI motor is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. While images of the interior remain elusive, the listing promises a cabin adorned with black bucket seats, complete with heating functionality, power windows, and locks.

Auction Anticipation

This strange Challenger is set to cross the auction block during the Mecum event at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, from September 20-23, 2023. While, if we're being honest, it's hard for us to imagine there will be a ton of genuine interest in this particular build, the borderline shocking nature of it has us intrigued to find out how much it fetches later this month!
