The 2009 Dodge Challenger Petty’s Garage Convertible is an homage to Richard Petty, meticulously crafted by skilled artisans and automotive experts. Commissioned by R.W. “Bob” O’Gorman, President of the Automotive Lift Institute, this vehicle, known as "Legacy by Petty," stands as the second car crafted by Petty’s Garage, a tribute to the unparalleled racing career of Richard Petty.
Custom Artistry
Draped in Petty Blue with Micro-Flec and Hunter’s Night-Glo flames, this Challenger commands attention with its unique design. Airbrush artist Mickey Harris added live custom artwork, enhancing its allure and artistic appeal.
Performance and Engineering
Featuring an Arrington Performance forged 7.0-liter HEMI V8 engine generating 620 horsepower, modifications including a Diablosport Predator tuner and a 6-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter ensure a thrilling driving experience akin to the racetrack.
