Bidding Farewell
Chrysler is bidding farewell to its iconic lineup of muscle cars, including the Dodge Challenger, Charger, and the Chrysler 300C. The company recently announced that production of these long-running models will cease by the end of the year. However, customers interested in owning one of these classics must act quickly, as the order books for all three vehicles will close at the end of July.
Dating Back to 2005
The Chrysler 300, with its history dating back to the 2005 model year, has undergone minimal changes since 2011. While the powertrain and technology have been updated over the years, the current model remains largely unchanged, resembling the same car that made its debut during President George W. Bush's tenure.
A V8 Sendoff
Unlike the Dodge Charger and Challenger, which received elaborate sendoffs, Chrysler did not go to the same lengths to commemorate the 300C's legacy. However, they did release a limited-production 300C in 2023 featuring a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine. Although lacking the exuberance of Dodge's farewell models, this special edition 300C boasts impressive performance figures.
300C
Under the hood, the limited-production 300C packs a punch with 485 horsepower and 475 pounds of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds and completes the quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds, making it a force to be reckoned with. The car also comes with additional enhancements, such as a 3.09 limited-slip differential, an active exhaust system, and an active suspension, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience.

While the limited-production 300C may already be out of reach for many enthusiasts, Chrysler is still offering the standard 300 for the time being. However, time is running out for those who wish to own a piece of Chrysler's automotive history, as the opportunity to acquire these classic models is rapidly coming to a close.
