8 Special SRT Mopars

The SRT automobile group has become synonymous with high-performance vehicles that look great and pack some serious punch on the roadway. Every car, from the Charger to the Cherokee to the Crossfire is unique from other models and worth checking out. The following are eight of the more noteworthy versions.

1. Dodge Charger SRT-8

In production 2012-2014, the Dodge Charger SRT-8 featured a 6.4L/392 Apache Chrysler V8 Hemi engine, capable of 470hp. Hit 60MPH in 4.6 seconds and passed the quarter-mile marker after 12.8 seconds.

2. Dodge Challenger SRT-8

Produced from 2011–2014, the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 was outfitted with a 6.4L/392 Apache Chrysler V8 Hemi engine that could muster up 470hp. It hit 60MPH in 4.5 seconds and passed a quarter mile on the track in 12.9 seconds.

3. Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6

The 2005–2006 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 featured 3.2L V6 C32 Supercharger Mercedes-Benz AMG engine that could hit 350 hp. It could go 0 to 60MPH in 4.8 seconds and pass the quarter-mile marker in 12.8 seconds.

4. Dodge Magnum SRT-8

In production from 2005–2008, the Dodge Magnum SRT-8 was outfitted with a 6.1L Chrysler V8 Hemi engine that could hit 425 hp. It was a bit slow off the line though, hitting 60MPH after 5.6 seconds, and taking all of 13.7 seconds to get passed a quarter mile.

5. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8

Manufactured from 2006–2010, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 featured a 6.1L Chrysler V8 Hemi engine that could ramp it up to 420 hp. It could get to 60MPH in 5.2 seconds, and surpass the quarter-mile marker after 13.5 seconds.

6. Dodge Ram SRT-10

On the line from 2004–2006, the Dodge Ram SRT-10 came with an enormous 8.3L V10 Chrysler Viper engine that could reach 510 hp. The truck could hit 60MPH in 5.4 seconds and be a quarter mile away in 13.8 seconds.

7. SRT Viper

Produced between 2013–2014, the SRT Viper came with an 8.4L V10 Chrysler Viper engine that packed a whopping 640 hp. In 3.3 seconds, the car could hit 60MPH, and after 11.1 seconds, it would be a quarter mile away.

8. Dodge Viper SRT-10

Manufactured from 2012-2017, the Dodge Viper SRT-10 has an 8.4L V10 Chrysler Viper engine capable of producing 640 hp. It can go from 0 to 60MPH in 3.2 seconds and pass a marker a quarter of a mile away in just 11.4 seconds.
