Taste of American Muscle

Alex Liebergall has had an itch for fast cars for years. His first go at muscle car ownership was with a 2010 Camaro. But the need for a more practical vehicle forced him to sell that car and bring home a Dodge Ram truck instead. He knew he missed the performance, though. And the story behind this spectacular build started when he made the switch back to muscle cars with a 2011 Dodge Charger R/T.

Powerful Daily Driver

The V8-powered charger served two purposes. It scratched some of Liebergall's speed itch, while also providing a spacious and practical source of transportation for him. And he needed a decent daily driver, as he was taking care of his parents and grandparents at the time. With that in mind, he knew he wanted to extract more power from the 5.7-liter HEMI.

Kicking Off the Mods

He began doing research on performance mods for the Charger. And having gathered the necessary information, he went to work installing common bolt-on upgrades. He put in a cold-air intake, shorty headers, and a custom exhaust. And with those, he was ready to try his hand at the race track.

Love of Racing

He loved his experience racing. But being the competitive guy that he is, he wanted to be able to compete with the fastest cars on the drag strip. And he knew that to be able to do that, he would need to incorporate major upgrades. At the same time, he had started to get recognition at car shows. And getting a taste of success in that realm, the competitor in him wanted to be the best in show as well.

Death Proof

That being said, he had to find the right combination of show and go. So while the improvements to the powertrain continued, he also began to create a unique visual theme for the car. His love for Tarantino movies steered him towards the direction of a Death Proof-themed aesthetic.

All Show and All Go

The body wrap was the first big step towards achieving the final look. And over time, Liebergall installed more custom elements to strengthen the theme. The custom lights, the rear seat delete, and the huge mural underneath the hood, and many more mods around the Charger give it a truly one-of-a-kind look. And the go-fast capabilities are very much there, as well as an Air Ride suspension to provide the perfect stance and ride for all occasions.
