Drivetrain

Under the hood sits a 440 six-pack powerplant which houses three Holly two-barrel carburetors. This engine pumps out 385 horsepower, which is eye-watering even by today's standards.

Handling

Muscle cars from the 1970s aren't renowned for their handling. But 1971 was the first year that the Super Bee received Rallye suspension with a sway bar. So, this old bruiser will go around a corner if it's told to do so.

All Muscle

There are few things that scream "all-American muscle" like a trapdoor style Ramcharger hood with hold-down pins. Adding to this iconic style at the rear are dual exhausts with bright tips.

Luxuries

Things like power brakes and steering weren't taken for granted back in 1971. But thankfully, this example has them. Speaking of brakes, the Super Bee has two discs at the front.

Style

This car will turn heads wherever it goes thanks to its bright white metallic paint job with black longitudinal striping. Adding to this look are color-keyed racing mirrors and a rear spoiler.

Interior

The exterior of this model epitomizes 1970s muscle and things don't change when you go inside. Here you'll find a black vinyl bench seat and a solid-state radio.

Tires

Finishing off the look are painted steel wheels with bright hubcaps. These wheels are wrapped in Goodyear G60-15 Polyglas GT tires. This awesome Charger is expected to hit the auction block at Mecum's Dallas sale, which starts on September 4th. While the estimated price is set between $85,000-125,000, we will have to wait and see how much this beauty will fetch in Texas.
