2. Dodge SS/T

The Dodge SS/T nameplate stands for "Super Sport Truck." Inspired by Dodge's successful forays into racing territory with the 1996 Indy 500 series coming into play, in particular, the company created a pickup truck with all of the amenities you would expect in a sporting performance vehicle. A 5.9L engine is but one of the chief highlights of this truck star. It nevertheless stands out as one of Dodge's pricier picks, but the performance specs on it will ensure it isn't soon forgotten.

Dodge's "Road/Track" nameplate is a sound-off for the best street performance the auto brand has to offer. Although the R/T has a comparatively meager 2000 pound pulling weight, the Dodge Dakota R/T 5.9 more than makes up for it with its surprisingly sleek street performance.

9. Dodge Journey

While not a true truck, per se, the Dodge Journey is another example of Dodge's innate ability to create amazing designs within categories that tend to compromise one aesthetic for another. 10. Dodge Sidewinder

The Dodge Sidewinder was another concept car, and while it never saw a production run, its unique combination of the Dodge Challenger and Dakota pickup designs makes it something of a wonder to behold for anyone interested in the Dodge nameplate. Penned by famed stylist Mark Allen just two years out of school at the time the concept was first unveiled in 1997 at the Las Vegas SEMA convention. The Sidewinder is an example of Dodge putting a more aesthetic spin on their pickup designs. It's lamentable this one never got the mass distribution it probably deserved, but the presented concept means we can at least appreciate the crossover aesthetic the Sidewinder represented.
