Show Off

The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas sees all kinds of heavily modified horsepower machines from all over the world.  At the 2019 SEMA expo, Magnaflow and Speedkore delivered a 2020 Demon Charger that is fast as all hell. The all-wheel-drive widebody features a twin-turbo that rates the car’s power plant at 1,525 horsepower.

It Used to Be a Cop Car

This Widebody Demon started life as a 2019 AWD Dodge Charger Pursuit. Fiat Chrysler provided Speedkore with access to a pre-production 2020 Charger Widebody model to make a kick-ass SEMA build. Speedkore, which is famous for carbon body builds, captured the pre-production car with 3D scans to get things going.  With that information captured, Speedkore created new carbon fiber bumper covers, fender flares, a more aggressive hood, spoiler, and a rear diffuser.

What’s Under the Hood?

A car that looks this aggressive must have a monster motor growling under that lightweight hood.  The power plant is a Gearhead 6.2-liter twin-turbo Hemi V8 that was modified to produce over 1,500 horsepower. The stock 2.7 IHI twin-screw supercharger that ships with the Demon was replaced with a set of Precision Turbo 6466 turbochargers and a custom upper plenum from Speedkore.

It’s Got Some Serious Pipes

With a powerhouse power plant and a no-nonsense induction system, you need a kick-ass exhaust set up to go along to the party.  MagnaFlow provided a stainless steel custom dual exhaust system that can be set for either road or track driving.  The three-inch, Competition Series Cat-Back performance exhaust system brings the noise.

Hellraisers

Hellraiser Performance did some proprietary machining on the pistons and drums and dropped in a billet input shaft and a custom trans brake.  The Widebody Demon has two shift handles, one for all-wheel drive and one for rear-wheel drive.  This makes the procedure for doing a burnout a little more complicated but rest assured, this Demon can burn plenty of rubber at the drop of a hat.
