The blinker combination switch is what separates you from all of the signalling lights on your Dodge Ram. When the switch is damaged, your hazard and blinker lights may not work, might blink fast, or just stay on. Sometimes, you won't even notice it happening, resulting in an unfortunate citation or angry yell from the driver you unknowingly cut off. The good news is you can easily access and replace the combination blinker switch in your truck by using the following instructions listed below.

Materials Needed

  • 10mm socket
  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Screwdriver
  • Torx screwdriver
  • 1/2" socket

Step 1 – Disconnect the battery

You will be unhooking the airbag from the steering wheel, so make sure you pop the hood open and disconnect the negative battery cable (black). Allow for some time to remove any power left in the airbag.
