I have seen this with mine after using Superchips.  Idle surging when stopped at lights, not bad and never died.  BUT!  It has dies a few times when the A/C was on at idle.  It will run for a few minutes and the idle will rise and the engine will die.  That is to protect the engine... I am a figitter... not spelled right but oh well.  I one pushed on the butterfly valve for the intake and the engine died.  So there is programming issues and if the car idles irradicly it kills the engine.

And never use cheap fuel....  Premium all the way always... Everytime.
