Default 6speed

Ok here is a question that is up for debate. I used to own a 2001TA 6spped. the T56 unit. I know at one time that unit was used in the fbodies, vettes, and vipers. Is it the same for the SRT10's? My friends that did not have kids and had to give up thier Fbodies and I were debating this the other night. Does that mean the only differnece is the imput shaft? And the bell housing?

If anyone knows the answer to my gee wiz question I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks

Paul
