I have a 1987 Dodge Daytona turbo Z and I have a carcked cylinder head that needs to be replaced.  Can anyone help me locate 2.2 Turbo II cylinder head for my daytona. I'm just finding out that this is a discontinued part. Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thanks, Charlie

If it's cracked between the valves than it's perfectly normal on turbocharged models but I would still do a pressure test to make sure it's not cracked into the chamber, here they sell new and complete cylinder head http://acheinc.com/newheads.html

Thanks fo the info Flybyuin2.2. Its cracked alright. I printed everything down to my printer and I'm going to give them a call and see about getting a new cylinder head. The car has been resting for about seven years. This is just the start of the redoing the 1987 Daytona Z. I'm going to be replacing the master cylinder and all brake lines, tires and a lot more to be done. Thanks for the reply, Charlie

I just acquired a 87 Shelby Z myself which sat in a barn for a 2-3 years and now it's getting all gone through, will post some pics before and after and video's when ready.

i have a motor from i think an 89 shelby 2 with turbo, that the motor works fine just has a bit of knocking which is either a rod bearing or a main bearing, but i dont feel like rebuilding it so i might part with the head if it will fit. drop me a message.

If you cant find a head on here,  assure you that you will find one on turbododge.com. If not in the for sale section, FWD performance may have one.
