Trying to replace water pump on 96 dakota, 3.9L V6. I can't break the tensioner pully bolt. I'm gonna borrow a breaker bar to try tommorow. Am I doing something wrong? Once I get the serpentine belt off do I remove the fan assembly next, and then just pull the bolts that connect the pump. I have all the hoses disconnected. Just want to sure I'm headed in the right direction and make sure there are no gotcha's. Thanks!!!!

Loosen the fan FIRST! The belt will help you loosen the fan .15 millimeter socket on the tensioner and push it toward the passenger side and the belt comes out.Don't forget to replace the o-ring and bypass hose as well as the thermostat gasket at the same time
