They had about 10 on lot, but no 4.7's I was bummed about that. I think it was dealer's first time in one these, as he had almost no clue about options, pricing, etc. He spent most of the time slamming the competition and trying to woo me over with the new powertrain warranty. Wow, the front ends look much nicer than ours. The interior is an upgrade and a little classy, but I still think it misses the mark. The armrest console is a lot smaller than ours. The bed has sliding, lockable hooks along the inside bed rails, which I really liked. The truck sits higher and is definately taller than my '05. I didn't bother "building" one with options, as the finances just aren't available for me right now, but it was fun to look and yank the dealer's chain a little bit.
According to my tape measure the 08 has the exact same height as my buddies 06. Both side by side in the dealers’ lot. It appears to sit higher from the front because the new bumper has a slightly better entry height but that’s it.

can someone please drive an 08 and gun it for me so we can geta good story? haha! my dealership is 30 miles away and im superbusy fixing my own truck, plus dealerships dont like 20 year old test drivers....anyways get out there and do your research forum members!
