Usually there is a pop up blocker in your browser. I got one on my IE 7.

humm, I have one, I'll give it a try.  It's been disabled for awhile now.  It interferes with necessary tools that I use often.

nope, popups continue... I'm talking about the small ads in the threads or text in articles that pop up when you put the mouse over them.

if you hover over one, so the box comes up, there is a question mark in the upper right corner, i believe.  click that question mark, and a new window will open.  at the bottom of that window, there is a text link "click here to disable intellitext"..

If you use FireFox browser you can also use an Add-On called AdBlock Filterset.G to permanently get rid of the Intellitext/Pop-Up Ads.

I think it's a malware program that gets downloaded from some websites, I think ad-aware or another program like it can remove it.
