Feel free to chime in: saw a performance chip on eaby for $5.  It is a resistor that plugs into your IAT sensor and supposedly increases horsepower.  This info came directly from the webpage.  Now this just sounds too good to be true.  Any input?

Mango -> No doubt, I just thought you guys might like seeing this piece of BS on ebay.

Blue -> I believe its the intake air temperature sensor.  Basically, I think the resistor is supposed to function like a cheap t-stat alternative.  I could be wrong though.  I know this, its definately b.s.

The PCM with HALs help uses various variables when adjusting Air Fuel ratios and timing. The IAT variable has a low impact on adjustments. Manifold air pressure (MAP), throttle pressure switch (TPS) and engine coolant temp (ECT) are the variables that will make the most difference in adjustments.
