Default Will it fit? 94 RAM 1500 Trans in my 94 5.2 Dak???

As title says and, I just bought a used 46RH and now I need to get it in my truck. What things should I do to prepare it for the truck, and what do I need to do to the truck to prepare it for the transmission?

Should I replace the seals on the input shaft and the output shaft? I know I need to replace the one on the output shaft since it was damaged during removal.

Is there anything else that I might need to do?

I've attached some pics of the tranny I picked up. That is a 46RH, right? This is my first time doing anything transmission...

Thanks

It looks like it to me but im not an expert. Ya I would replace both seals. Its not that hard. The other thing is change the oil and filter when you get it up there. I would suggest get a hard gasket from dodge and not autozone or any parts stores

Did you get the converter with the trans? Also, take it to a tranny shop and let them put a new tail shaft bushing in with a new seal. They have a special tool that take the bushing out and put a new one in.

yeah, I got the torque converter with it. I'd like to replace it with a new one. Is there a particular one I should go with? I will look into the tail shaft bushing. Thanks for reply!

Ya for the oil pan. Go with a stock replacment. It has a lock up torque converter. So just a normal stock new or rebuilt will be good.
