In 2006, DodgeForum.com began taking the vehicles that won during the course of the year, and for those who are still active members, the previous winners are voted on to establish the Car and Truck of the Year. The 2006 Winners: Car of the Year-LilSparkPlug's 2004 Panther Pink SRT-4 [image]http://www.autoforumuniverse.com/fi1es/otm/170.jpg[/image] Link to her Gallery Details: quote:
Originally, I hated the SRT-4. Not the car itself, but seeing all of the yellow ones, the styling just didn't catch my eye the way I thought it should. When I first sat in one back in 2003 I found that I liked way more about it than what I originally thought. Fast forward a year, I'm working as a sales person at a Dodge dealer in Rhode Island. Theres a black SRT sitting in the showroom, staring at me day after dat. I fell in love with the car, I had never driven one, never even so much as started one up, but I knew I needed to have one and it had to be black. Since we've already fast forwarded once, set yourselves forward two and a half years to the present day. After having the car for this amount of time, there isn't a thing I would do differently. The car puts a smile on my face everytime I see it, and the more I do to it, the more amazed I become with the car and what its truly capable of. Three months ago I finally made my dream come true. Having a car with a paint job designed and applied by me. The work paid off greatly, and I couldn't be happier. My future plans for the car would definitely be a Stage 3 setup with supporting modifications, and I plan to do the entire suspension as well. Since the car isn't a track beast, but a daily king, I need the driveability to keep me going. I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me along the way, without them, none of this would be possible. I'll leave it there :) Here's a quick current modlist, with way more to come in the future.
