04 Dak Auto Body Lift Question
 

anyone with like an 04 Automatic done a bodylift?
i'm trying to figure out if i need to weld anything (steering extension, ect) before i go out and buy it

Many lift kits will come with the steering extension as part of the kit. I don't think you will need to do any welding, but you will need to extend your gas filler hose, possibly re-route brake lines and certain electrical circuits. I am sure someone who has done a body lift on that application will chime in.

i heard the body lifts on these trucks suck as far as installation goes. there wont be any welding at all and i would rather just pay someone to put it on. as far as the kit goes it comes with everything that you will need except for the gap guards which would be good to have.i got a quote for 300 for install and when i get the money for the body lift im gonna do that. if you do the body lift i would buy it from summitracing.com they ship very fast and its always an easy transaction. plus ou get a summitracing hat.
