Default Any diagrams yet of 2008 Avenger engines?

Anyone come across any engine diagrams for our cars? I just would like to look and learn. I was told maybe after January Haynes will have a book out or was it Chilton's?I emailed both and now I can't remember which one said January and the other said they are waiting till there's enough on the road.lol I don't care whether it's either of them I would like to get to know what and where everything is.

Default RE: Any diagrams yet of 2008 Avenger engines?

Here is a little info from the ALLPAR.com site on the 2.7 and 3.5L.

The 2.7 and 3.5 liter engines were used in the 2008 Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger with some changes. The 2.7 was downgraded to 190 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque, but reportedly had better low-end power. The 3.5 was downgraded to 235 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque.
Another change from the 3.3 to the 2.7 was switching from a timing belt to a more-reliable three-row chain.

Thanks very much. I see I'm not the only one that likes to research. I used to go to the Dodge Daytona forum quite a bit on ALLPAR. I learned quite a bit from others on there. Well I've learned alot here too. I think here and ********* are proably the most active for me as far as getting answers though or relating to other new Avenger owners. Thanks again I appreciate it.

If it's a 2.7L V6 you'll be seeing the internals of your engine pretty soon anyway.

Just kidding, just kidding

You must have a reason for that comment. After seeing your other post in the Avenger forum, I take it your just trying to start something ? But, I could be wrong.
