Default Considering this car... But

I was considering the Avenget R/T AWD, however, I'm a manual enthusiast. I understand the R/T has an autostick transmission, how does it compare to a manual transmission? And if I wanted to, is there any future in a Auto to Manual swap-out?

From my experience with autostick in my Intrepid, I'd say it is not at all like clutch and stick. You just don't meld with the drivetrain.

It is handy for holding a lower gear as when ascending a hill or daring a turn. Not a bad thing to have but not with the satisfaction of a real manual.

most of todays cars are going to autostick. It takes some time to get used to them, but work just fine. But there isnothing like a real manual trans.

Okay, that answers my first question, how about the second?

What is the possibility of an auto to manual swap with the avenger?

The answer to you second question is Yes, There is a 5 speed and a 6 speed transmissions. Mopar 5190320ab 5 speed and 5273355ad 6 speed. Both transmission fit 2.0 to 3.5 engines.

Good to hear. I want to see someone really tear this thing open and see what can be done.
