3.5 OD  & yes Betta the link that you posted for the 5.7, that's the one. The other Corsas are for the SRT. As you can see in the pictures the cans hang kinda low that's why I powder coated mine. I think the Borlas hide a little better and have two systems for the 5.7.  I do love pulling up to some kid in a mustang, the sound of  dropping into third at 60 mph on the highway, and punching it.

Yes, Thanks ByeByeBlue. I would appreciate any comments you have on the Borla system.
I was actually thinking about getting the less aggressive system. Mostly cause my little
kids and the fact that I use it for my every day car(to-from work). I can't get a sound clip
of that particular exhaust so I hope its worth it.
Is there that much of a difference(souund wise) between the two borla systems?
Anyone else have any feedback on the borla exhaust system?
Thanks

Vinman,
I bought the aggressive system (t byrne motorsports, group buy $815 includes frieght), it came with 5 inch tips (HUGE) as a matter of fact I have since changed them to a 4"inch tip they were too big.  The system is loud but sounds really awesome when you get on it especially in the higher rpm's it has a wicked roar.  I get a lot of looks when I drive down the street even at very low rpm's it sounds mean.  If I had to do it again I'd probably go with the quieter system though, mostly because at around 3000 rpm with a low load on the engine it drones, it can be a problem if you are trying to talk on your cell phone even the other party can hear it through the phone.  It does not drone when the MDS kicks in, although on the highway when MDS goes on and off it has a weird brrrrp sound and is getting on my nerves.  Going to the smaller tip did change the tone to a deeper sound and also made it noticably quieter.  In my opinion the 4 inch tip looks perfect, the tips I got are 20 inches long and exit at stock location however from the side of the car you can see the shiny stainless tips hanging down slightly below the trunk which look really bad ass.  I don't totally dislike the system it is of very high quality and sounds mean but it is a little loud. If I could have heard the system in person I would have got the quieter system it was cheaper too.  You may want to ask this question to Borla, Does the quieter sytem have the same mufflers and is the only difference in the added resonators on the quieter system.  If it is the same system with resonators you can always remove them or leave it alone.  Oh by the way, the power gain is very noticable when you add the system.

If someone tells me how to add a photo to this forum I will put a couple photos from the side and rear out there for you.  Good luck

Thanks Blue.
I'm feelin better about getting the less aggressive system. I wanted to go with the corsa, but
from the deal I'm able to get w/ a borla system, we're talkin almost 50% more.  Pathetic as it may sound, my wife is still bitchin about me havin to get a new car.  Suprised to hear about the droning w/ your borla.

Hey wally,
You say you got your cans podwer coated, why? Do they constantly scrape? Is this a problem? Because I'm always going in and out of the driveway and I always scrape the bottom lip, you think this would be a problem for me with the corsa?

There are other guys on the forum with the Borla but I am not sure which system they have, they also claim no drone so maybe they got the quieter system.  Perhaps my K&N CAI, or SC tuner plays a part in my drone, I have no idea I just know it is there around 3K RPM range med to soft on the throttle.  I usually get on it or drop it down or up a gear to make it go away, don't get me wrong it is tolerable.  You know what they say " if it's too loud your too old"

Found my ebay auction. The user name was gmparts-001 (I think). It was Bill Estes Chevy in Indianapolis Indiana. I powder coated the cans to keep from having the "import coffe can system" look that I dislike. You know, the silver tumors on the hondas that go "bbbbrrrrrraaapppp."  No problems w/any scrapes, even w/ backing into parking spots with concrete wheel stops ( so far). Like I suggested check the pictures under custom Corsas a few pages back. Also kinda makes the back of the car look a little lower.
