Fuse 11? - 8/19/2007 6:44:47 PM    Jon E Stud Posts: 41 Joined: 6/26/2007 Status: offline I've heard that after doing some mods you should pull a fuse (I think fuse 11) in order to allow the car to reprogram itself for the new installs......I have a Mopar CAI and Flowmaster catback......is this something I should do or is someone just blowing smoke up my tailpipe? _____________________________ 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T GoManGo! #1225 Post #: 1

RE: Fuse 11? - 8/19/2007 8:03:38 PM    mnboy   Posts: 714 Joined: 1/27/2006 Status: offline Stud, I know there are fuse pullers out there, but if I change anything, I usually reset the system by removing the negative terminal on the battery for a few, then reattach it.  No big deal. However, it resets everything... LOL, afterwards, you need to reset the radio clock. MN (in reply to Jon E Stud) Post #: 2

RE: Fuse 11? - 8/27/2007 5:02:13 PM    byebyeblue   Posts: 95 Joined: 3/29/2007 Status: offline Are you guys sure this works, I read elsewhere you must disconnect the battery then touch the pos and Neg cables together (while away from the battery) to deplete Hal's stored memory or pull three fuses dance around the car, do this do that and go that route.  In older OBDll systems it was as simple as disconnecting the battery but I believe with the newer technology, energy may be stored to keep the memory intact.  How do we know for sure?  I did the fuse trick and after beating the crap out of the car for about 2500 miles, my car is now a different animal all together.  My buddy recently bought a 2007 R/T and mine blows his doors off. _____________________________ I am still smilin' (in reply to MangoInTX) Post #: 4
