Default Will 245/75/16 MTs fit my 2003 Dakota?

I have a 2003 Dakota SLT plus 4x4 with P265/70/16. I want to put either BFG MT or Goodyear MTR on it. What is the rim width of my tires? Can I do 245/75/16 or 255/70/16 or both? Which of the two mud-terrains listed should i go for? So many stats and opinions...

265/70-16 is approximately equal to 31x10.5-16
245/70-16 is approximately equal to 30x9.5-16. This smaller tire should fit.
255/70-16 is approximately equal to 30x10-16. This smaller tire should fit.

Go to http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html
Try your sizes there.

I put 265/70-16's on 10.5" wheels, and had to do some serious trimming to stop the rubbing. It looks good, but they're definitely not BIG enough!!!
