Default '00 D: Sounds like water trickling

I bought a '00 Durango STL w/110K miles this past weekend, andon my way to work this morning, I heard what sounded like water trickling. I couldn't determine where the sound was coming from. I was running the front A/C on 1st speed, and I had just turned the rear A/C off.
Has anyone else encountered this? Is it anything to be concerned about?

It may be air in the cooling system...

It's low refrig levels in the AC. Add a can or get a professional recharge. Don't do it and the system could have problems the longer you wait.

Ok. You mean a can of freon, right?
Is it a correct assumption that I need to buy R-134a freon?

Yes it will. Make sure that when you buy a recharge kit that you get the one with the pressure gauge. You can add it with just the coupling hose, but if you do, make sure you look on the Rad support for the correct amount needed.

Before you add the freon, Is your A/C system seems to be cooling normally? If so, I would not bother adding additional freon. The water trickling sound could be water condensate draining out of your A/C system. Depending on where the drain outlet is positioned, I heard it may be dripping on your exhaust pipe or dinging somewhere on the frame where you can hear the drip.
