I helped a friend install JBAs and several on the fourm run them. JBA makes good products.

If there are issues that are caused by the JBAs then yes part of the warranty is voided.

To say totally under warranty don't touch the exhaust forward from the CATs.

You might be able to find a dealer that will install Mopar headers and keep you under warranty but that is up to the dealer and their discretion.

Only thing that sucks about warranties.. can't do the fun mods.. heh..

JBAs are nice, especially for the price, but I'm more a fan of long tubes.  These are the ones I was looking at getting for mine:

and

Just not sure if i want 3" or 2.5" or cats or no cats.. seems to be the biggest differences between the two from what I can tell

The way the law reads it would be very hard for a dealer to claim that the headers caused the problem unless the problem was in the exhaust itself, ie exhaust leak. Now that doesn't mean they won't try, and they would probably get away with it because you would have to get a lawyer involved to get them to do right which would probably cost more then the repair. I agree, Mopar headers are good and most dealers that have a performance parts counter will waranty them without giving you the greef.

Has anyone ran the JBAs or SLPs? I want to make my order soon and I'm still trying to decide which set of longtubes I want.

I would tend to agree with you on this one.  The one "injury" they might be able to push right through, though, would be a burnt valve.  Burn the valves with other than stock headers, and I think you will probably get burned yourself.

I've got full JBA system in boxes waiting for a free weekend.  Will let you know.  I posted ( Exhaust.....JBA, Yeah or nay?) check it out.  The way I understand the warranty thing is they have to prove your mod caused the problem.  However if they do go against you un fairly, you would have to get the lawyers involved.

Don't worry it's going to work fine for you, many people have installed the JBA headers and there haven't been drastic issues.
