Default No joke, Want to make an easy $200.00?

I am looking for a front Fascia, Passenger Fender and Hood for a 1990 Dodge Daytona ES. Hence I believe any 1989-1991 Car will do. If you provide the source and the location where I can get these parts and/or buy a car that has them on it I will pay you $200.00 commission for your trouble.

This is no joke. I need the parts in order to fix my car and I am willing to pay somone if they can find them for me. I am even willing to buy a car if it has the parts.

Since I live in San Bernardino, California, preferably I would hope that the car/parts to be located near by so that I can go and examine the parts to make sure they look good enough to purchase. The quicker I can verify this the sooner I can send you a check for $200.00.

If you are willing to sell your Daytona, we can include the $200.00 in the price of the car you are selling.

So why am I doing this??? I recent restored a Dodge Daytona and shortly after I did a driver pulled in front of me and caused damage to my vehicle. I have visited the local junk yards and have yet to find the parts I need. Keep in mind it needs to be a Daytona ES. That means it has the spoiler around the bottom of the vehicle... From the factory this part of the car was often painted silver in color.

The condition of the paint does not matter, only that the structure of the parts are in good working order. I will have the parts painted before they are installed.

So, do you know someone with a Daytona that might want to sell it? Perhaps that is you? If so, a simple phone call might land you an easy $200.00.

You can reply to this post or you can send me email at sgeer@csusb.edu.

I hope I can find the parts soon as my car is in my back yard and I really want to fix it. The pictures on my computer of my car need to be resized as they are bigger then the 500k limit this site allows for uploading. If you send me an email I will be glad to send the pictures to you so that you know what I am looking for.

Sincerely,

Shaun

i know a guy with an 89 daytona, he wants to get rid of the whole car, just talked to him he said $2500.00 But he's out of work so you might make him an offer. Its automatic with an intercooler, engines out, he was going to rebuild it, he will give to u all the parts, plus an extra block and manual transmission. Car is located in central New Mexico.

New Mexico is a bit far from me. Not that I wouldn't be willing to look at his car, but I was hoping for something closer to me as it will cost me less to have to go and see it.

Since I just put this post up I would thought I would wait and see if I get some better responses. But I will keep your offer in mind.

I was looking at a whole car in Georgia for $1999.00. If the car was down the street, or even 100 miles away I would buy it. It is running and the AC works. The body is in pretty good condition. But of course it is in Georgia. There must be someone closer to me in California?

Again, if you find a lead that ends up going to the car I buy I will pay you $200.00. A friend of a friend??? Purhaps a Junk Yard that a friend of yours visited. Check out the pick a part places and if you find one send me an email... If you frequent any junk yards Daytonas are easy to spot. Just make sure it is the ES.

Now that sounds like a good deal. But let me ask you this.... What year is the Daytona?
Is it the turbo hood, (The one with the bump in the hood)? Secondly, is the front fender off of a Daytona ES? I have noted from the Junk Yards that the non spoiler version of the fender is different. Here are some links to explain what I mean.

The first link is of the car that I am looking for.

The shelby's had a bump in the hood. Oh, I know they will fit but it is not the same look. I need the same look.

I will try and post a picture of my car before the accident. These pictures were taken about 1 month ago.

Here are some more pictures of what my car (used to look like) was before the accident. So you can see the condition it was in. Now you know why I want to restore it. But I need the parts. So anyone giving me a lead to the car/parts that I buy to fix my car will get $200.00 for their trouble.

You can send me email at sgeer@csusb.edu

Or just reply to this post.
