Get your money back on that throttle body spacer, otherwise it makes a great paper weight.  That's all it's good for. Most if not all of us here on DF swear by the Fastman, Dan Arcand for modified throttle bodies.Go to www.thefastman.com   He does outstanding work and the price is unbeatable. You will not be disappointed.

It's all explained at the fastman's website. Core exchange etc. Combined with with a CAI mod a tb mod translates into hp gains.

Our TBs are concave inside so even if you get a fastman TB of the same diameter of 68 its a true 68 so its the same diameter all the way through... thus alowing for more air(brought in by your CAI) to mix with more fuel... alowing for more HP and TQ... :-D

Heres a good thread that might help explain it better... and at the Very least you can see a Stock TB side by side with a true 68mm Fastman TB

we have a session on sept 9 for dyno runs. i have yet to do a run with the new tb. but by the seat of the pants it tells me at wot. it is better then the stock. here is a pic. they are the same size as a unit. it is the internal size that is different. our stock tb are coned shape like a coke bottle fat at one end and skinny at the other. the fastman removes the cone shape and turns it into a coke can that is the same size top to bottom. easy install and for 180.00 cant beat the price

It's the core charge for your stock TB.  After you send them your stock TB you get the money back.

Yup, they need people to send their old ones in so they do a core charge like that.  Many auto parts stores will do that with certain parts.

yes. he will charge your card for 260.00 then when you receive the aftermarket tb,dan gives you one month to swap it out and return the factory one. he then credits the card for 80.00. if you want to keep the factory tb and the aftermarket tb. then let him know when ordering. that way he can just charge the 260..00 from the start.

yeah IDK yet I mean right now I still have plenty of time and miles left on my warrenty... so I'd kinda like to keep it just incase I need to take my truck in I can swap out TBs before I take it in... thats why I kept my stock Air Intake & intake manifold...

Probably not a bad idea, I thought about that but I'm just going to hold off on the TB till my warranty runs out.  Plenty of other mods I can keep myself busy with till then
