so i was reading the motor trend september 2007 issue and noticed they had the 0-60 in 5.1-10.1sec. 5.1 is reallyfast and i doubt the 3.5L 235hp enginecan clock that low of a time. or are they just saying its in between the range of 5.1-10.1, anyone know what the 0-60 might be for the r/t? thanks for any replies.

Probably in the low to mid 7's. I would like to see the 4.0L engine with the 6 speed running to awd. That would be good for some sub 7's I would imagine. I am still going to wait another year or two before I buy a car (still in school and have my parents to drive) and would love to see that combo.

Oh, and the spot suspension on the awd model. Currently only the fwd R/T has the sport-tuned suspension which is lame imho.

That sounds about right...based on the 4 or 6 cylinder, front wheel or allwheel.
I havent timed myself yet, but Im certain I'm in betweenthere somewhere.
I'm more curious how myV6 would do on the 1/4 mile. The 1/4 mile numberwould be more important to me than the 0-60mph anyway.....

I noticed that as well, the answer is that is literally impossible for a 235hp 3500lbs car even with the new six speed. The acceleration time for the 3.5L in the Avenger is around 6.8secs. I believe what happened is they got the Magnum and the Avenger mixed up. MT editors are extremely inaccurate in those sections. Take anything you see in there with a grain of salt.

Have you heard from anyone about the ride difference between the AWD and FWD R/T suspensions ? I have the AWD R/T. ALLPAR states about7seconds flat 0-60.
