90 DAYTONA TURBO ES - 7/31/2007 1:09:51 PM    2fnloud   Posts: 1 Joined: 7/31/2007 Status: offline Hello all I am looking at a subect mentioned car that has a siezed motor. I was wondering if anyone could give me any details on the Mitsubishi engine that is in this car. Since the car is going to need another engine anyways....is the a stronger Mitsu engine that could be used in place of the original? I would still want to keep it turbo. Post #: 1

The 2.2/2.5 are actually Mopar engines, and were the only ones turboed from the factory by Mopar. The 3.0 is a Mistubishi engine that was used in Voyagers, Caravans, and about anything else that had a 6 cylinder. It was only turboed in the 3000GT (that I know of, and I've done a lot of checking). Most Chrysler products that came with a 4 cyl. in the early 90's also could be ordered with the 3.0. (in reply to 2fnloud) Post #: 2
