Hey everyone.... This is my first post here. I just acquired a 1990 daytona v6. It's a dog. Beat up and battered. Over 200,000 miles. But I like to tinker and the car was only 200 bucks. I've already replaced the throttle body with one from a jeep and ported the intake out. I also added a cold air kit. My next step is to sort out some wiring problems.

Here's my question. While searching through a local junkyard yesterday i stumbled upon a 1990-1991 daytona ES with the full set of ground effects. Will these bolt up to my car with out serious modification. Also...I am in terrible need of a wiring diagram for this car. Are there any kind of aftermarket ECU's or ignition systems that will defeat the timing retard at full throttle.I would also like to adjust fuel curves and timing. I don't mind spending some money on it since it was so cheap. It's a 3.0 v6 with manual transmission. my E-Mail is studmaster17@yahoo.com

Thanks

Look around on http://www.megasquirt.info/, you should be able to use megasquirt to control your fuel and timing.  Autozone has some wiring diagrams on there website under "repair info" http://www.autozone.com/shopping/repairGuide.htm

Ground  f/x are a direct "bolt " on,  a ton of work though, (rivets in the rocker panels, joint bolts, front facia etc) you will see if you remove the pieces from the donor car. doable? yes, but prep for some "labor intensive"
time.
As far modding fuel curves/timing etc (stock smec)....are you familiar with   .bin files?  if so try http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/D-Cal/.....OR......http://www.moparchem.com/phpBB3/portal.php.
