So,  I painted it with some blue high temp paint...  not sure if it will stay that way or not though...

The ceramic coating is really ugly (off white...  really dirty looking)  So I painted it...  might just paint it a darker color,  but IDK.   The heat shield is painted with wheel coating.  ;-)

Well,  yes and no...  I got it to be 1 piece but it put a lot of strain on the middle of the first bend...  so much that it bent the tube a little...     But the reason its in 3 chunks is because I am hoping to use them in turbo pipe...  if KRC ever gets back to me on a flash...

nope,  I made mine with some 3 inch aluminum, some red silicone couplers and some red silicone hose...   I had mine ceramic coated.

Plus I wanted to bend my own.   I also got a K&N universal that has the same dimensions as the one that comes off the FIPKs...

thanks,  I put a lot of thought into how to make it keep from soaking up heat...  Hopefully ceramic coating it will do the trick.

Good job.  Put this info in the Mod Talk thread so everyone can see the pics and the good job you did.

Yes, but how does it work, does it do anything for pefromance or milage or do you drive around with your hood up to show it off?

Hey Eric, what are the measurements on it?  I'm thinking I might actually do my own now.  I want to go with the Alum instead of the plastic.
