Opps, I kinda forgot, I have a 91 Stealth ES. Well, it was at one time. Now its a FWD Twin Turbo. Has a full 99 VR4 body conversion and a Pitroad M CF hood.

I've got one to, a 91 stealth ES. Just not w/ all the cool stuff you have on yours. However i'm hoping to have a 92' twin turbo buy the end of summer.

Honestly speaking though, if you are 17, you probably dont have a whole boatload of money laying around and you probably work really hard for the cash you get, so I would definitely stay away from the twin turbo models. You will really enjoy a DOHC or even a SOHC though. These cars are great. They are lookers and performers when asked and treated right. I would say go for it. I can tell you this for sure, once you drive/own a stealth or 3000GT, you'll definitely always want to have one around

I left the sides empty. I hate those fins, plus, I knew when i did my 99 conversion I was going to be putting in a front mount intercooler in the future, so those fins were a waste of time and money, so I didn't even bother. as for our cars, our stuff is a little different, but the concept is similar. My seats have embrodering in them and I also have the inserts on the door panels done too. Although, as much money as it cost for those damn embrodered letters , I dont know if it was worth it, hahahaha

Hi! 1993 Stealth R/T Turbo, Viper Black with twin white stripes. Apexi AVC-R/Blitz turbo timer/Magnecor wires/Sumitomo tires/K&N FIPK/completely disintegrated exhaust, no mufflers ... Question is...how many of you Stealth/3000GT owners are coming to the Tenth Annual East Coast Gathering, in Ocean City, MD? It's in May. I started it with 4 cars, then 9, then 33, then...after that, Eric Bowden took over, and has it ever exponentiated! Just bought a Borla, having it put on next week if I can find someone local to do it! I want to find a stainless steel header/downpipe that will bolt right up to the Borla and the turbos. Any suggestions? Scopata Fuori "Bad cat!"
I'll definitely be at the ECG Hell, i won best of show runner up last year and the year before that, so i'll definitely be there.
I remember your car! You had the one that was a NA to TT conversion? UNbelievable. And I think it was one of the cars that drew THE most attention. Mine's getting a little roadworn, although I'm putting some work into her now. Lots of stone chips, little stuff. Mine isn't a contender for any kind of award, but it's been at every Gathering since 1997, and my previous Stealth was at every Gathering from the very first one (in 1994?) I think...I SHOULD know! Until I sold it, and then the new owners brought it to the next Gathering, which was very cool. There were two of the 1st Gen Stealth TT models with white stripes. Mine has a little wider stripes. Maybe you can give me some advice....it sounded like the clutch was slipping a couple weeks ago, I took it to a transmission shop, and they replaced the clutch. And it is STILL slipping! I had Altered Atmosphere replace the transmission a couple years ago and put in a Centerforce clutch...the tranny shop put in a stock LUK clutch. They are saying, maybe it is the transmission, but AA says that a 5-spd tranny will not "slip" it will just make horrible crashing noises and there's no "slipping" about it. They think it's the clutch...perhaps not installed correctly. I was reading on Stealth316.com that if the flywheel is not "two-stepped" then it will defintely slip. So here I am, out over $1k, and still slipping. Can it be the tranny? Or does it definitely sound like the clutch just needs fixing (again!). It feels like a farm truck pulling a load of bricks, out of 1st and 2nd. What do you think about it? Thanks! 93StealthTT

I'm sure we can figure out whats going on, but from what you are saying, it definitely sounds like the clutch. Did they cut teh FW when they installed the new clutch? That could be it. Or, do you have an aftermarket FW, like the RPS or fidanza? Also, NEVER, NEVER NEEEEEEVER buy a centerforce clutch for these cars!!!!!!!!! THEY ABSOLUTELY SUCK!!!!!!!!! I ripped one up in less that a month, and them a$$holes wouldn't even stand behind it. To rip a clutch up in less than a month, something was definitely defective about it. But anyway, give me a call at the shop. 215-332-4900, just ask for Ty Thats me
