research the superchips programmer... I have no experience with it but I think I recall someone saying they prefered it over the hypertech because of the low end torque (which is what you need for mpg improvements)

How do you change the headlight unit. Not the bulb, took the 3 bolts out but there isn't enough room for the light to come out without breaking it which is no problem since it has moisture in it but then I still have to get the new one in. I've already loosened 6 bolts on the bumper on the same side which it didn't help, then I started loosening bolts on the other side. If I keep it up the whole bumper is going to be laying on the ground. By the way 01 1500 5.9 quad cab with performance module, firepower ignition kit, electric fan and headers.

I was able to get mine out ('00 QC) w/o taking anything apart, you have to work at it though.  I did the sport headlight upgrade.
