shifting is so damn hard!!! - 7/18/2007 9:44:46 AM    yiranhu   Posts: 8 Joined: 11/19/2004 Status: offline Hi all, I'm new to this forum. Just got a 2000 Intrepid. There are several small/minor issues with the car but one that's really annoying is the shifter. That thing is SOOO hard to shift (any type of shift I do). I feel the worst part is shifting from drive to park. I think I can hear a little bit of gear grind when passing reverse. The RPM also goes up a bit when I do this (car is fully warm and is standing still of course). What's the problem? Is this common in Intrepid? Thanks all, Yiran Post #: 1
