Default Squeaks

My 1999 Durango has developed an annoyingly loud squeak. The squeak can be heard with every bump in the roadway. When I exit the vehicle I usually hear a couple of loud clunks from the front of the vehicle. The lower ball joints were replaced about two years ago.

Can the fix be as simple as lubrication, or am I looking at a potentially serious problem?

Sounds like it may be the non-greasable ball joints. Check out a little
web site I made that will give you more information, including news
articles, etc.

Hope this helps.
