How to know when your MDS is working... - 7/9/2007 11:40:53 PM    LT_RAM   Posts: 3 Joined: 4/11/2005 Status: offline   Hi, I have seen some people asking about the MDS and how to know if it is working or not... Some say it works in a specific range... I don't know if you all know this already or not but i decided to post anyways.. when showing the avg fuel consumption screen...it shows if the mds is active or not...I noticed it works at any speed as long as you are not accelerating... I was crusing at 120 klm/h and 130 klm/h and 40 klm/h and it was on at all those speeds... when the MDS is Active it shows " Fuel Saver mode " if it is inactive nothing shows...even at slight acceleration it will be off.. only explanation I have that this is the MDS indicator... I have seen some people wondering and thought I would share it with you.. Good luck burning fuel.. Is that the Daytona? Or the R/T with the road package? All I have is a AWD R/T. Is there anyway I can get that screen to show on my car, or anyway to tell the MPG's I'm getting? Your steering wheel will have buttons on it. Diagnostics is activated by pressing and holding the compass and music note buttons at the same time, then can scroll through various screens of information. (in reply to betta510) Post #: 7
