Default how much of a difference does an M1 really make?

i have a 99 5.2/5-speed witha 3.91 sure grip, shortie edelbrock headers and full dual exhaust with an X pipe, K&N FIPK intake and a hurst short throw.

im looking for more power and the M1 is pretty expensive. is it worth it? what do you gain in the quarter just from the intake? is there anything else i should do before i look at getting the M1 like maybe a throttle body or underdrive pullies? whats the most BANG for my buck?

well since u have the whole exhaust done including the headers you would see a bit...im not exactly sure how much but you would see some...the only time you really dont see anything is if you dont have the equipment to exhaust that extra air...also the k&n will help the intake but also a bigger throttle body will help even more

The 2 bbl MPI along with a mild port of the Magnum heads
using the now-discontinued porting templates
(they show up on eBay from time to time)
is good value for the $

its really not going to do much. swapping out the intake is ok but if you have a matching cam and rockers to go with it you will see better gains.
