125mph before I decided to second guess the tires on my truck. Was at 4400 RPM. Mine is a 96' 5speed, regular cab, but with all the free mods I could do other than a K&N and removal of gov.

I think I had my old 4x4 up to about 90 but I would worry about how fast you go since the tires that are stock or close to stock sizes are not rated for much over 100mph if even that fast. I looked at my neighbos and his were R rated to 106mph I know some of the older models out there are rated for 96mph or even 88mph.

All I took it up to was 106 mph. More in it for sure. No shake, not scary either.

That was a few years ago, had a little race with my buddy on a very remotely used road. He was in his 94 Chevy Blazer, 4.3 auto, and I was in my 93 Dakota 3.9, 5 spd. We were very even until we got to 90mph and i just pulled by him until I had to lift because we were coming into town pretty quickly lol.

I had my 1992 club cab up to 125 with the stock 318 and a Mopar performance computor on a lonely stretch of Alabama 2 lane before I came to my senses and realized that a wayward deer jumping out of the pines would probably be fatal so I pussied out and slowed down.Damn I'm gettin old
