Status: offline 		picked up my 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT last friday.  Have to say it is very nice and have been very happy with it so far.  Getting about 26 MPG for now, figure that will go up some over time.  I got the Premium Convenience package, the leather interior group, the sport appearance package and the color is the metallic orange
 
the small beefs i have.  the leather seats are not the most comfortable..hoping it gets more comfortable over time...just like my easy chair and id have to say that both the chill zone and the cupholder that has the heat/chill feature are mostly worthless... but other than that, the drivability and such are very nice.

Status: offline 		anyone else think the location of the battery is rediculous on the new avengers?  mine is in the front right, but under everything, so makes it nearly impossible to change it out....so stupid...what were they thinking?  Anyone attempt to get at it yet?  any easy way?

Yes it's stupid. Hopefully there's not many other stupid things to find.lol  The battery has always been the one of the easiest things to get at, What the heck happened?

Status: offline 		just rented one of these (4banger i assume) and it was alright......it wasnt anything special becuase it was a low end model......
i did notice that the tranny seemed like it stalled when going from first into second but then again it was a rental
i will agree with the others saying the seats arent the most comfortable.....

    Just took delivery of my 2nd Avenger (first was a red 1999 ES) yesterday... loaded Black R/T.  I'm lovin' this car more and more... and MyGIG is worth every penny.  Now where are the Cold Air intake Kits and power chip mods... it's time to make this car a real toy.
