do you put the resistor on a certain wire? both of them? is there a certain way the resistor should be facing?

how about this...  does it have to be between teh plug and sensor or can it just be on the green wire?  I have a bunch of 4.7k resistors in my tool box from remote start installs and door popper installs.  (gold, red, violet, yellow. on a tan base)

if it can be on the wire, I was going to use bullet connectors so I could remove it in the winter...  if not, then a plan B will have to be developed.

I think thats what frenchy did, I just wanted to be able to remove it if it had to go to the dealer

hmm...  I might have to do this tomorrow if I get home from work early enough.  just need to pick up some solder and wire...  should take all of 3 minutes to actually do.   Do you have to reset the computer after the MOD?
