Ok... So I got them in the mail today, and of course that means on they go... Ok, so heres a how to on these babies. Stuff needed: Torq T30 driver to remove headlights Black Electrical tape 4 3M outdoor/underground Tee Taps (come with the load resistors) 2 LED 3157 Bulbs 2 Load resistors. What to do... First things first we need to make sure we have all of our stuff together. 2- LED Bulbs 2- Load Resistors 4- T-Taps 1- Roll of Electrical tape 1- T30 Torq Driver got all that? if not, get them, if so, onto the fun. First you need to pop the hood, we need to do this to pull off the headlights. You will see 3 screws holding the headlight in. Once you get those 3 screws out you will have to pull the headlight out of the truck. There is a ball that locks into a socket and it takes some force to get it out. once you get the light out, its on to the fun stuff. We have to hook the load resistors up, and it isnt bad, so dont worry. What you have to do is hook up one T tap to one side of the light, and another to the other. here is a pic for reference. you are going to hook them up to the outside wires... its easy. Then you plug in the light. it has a right and wrong way. but if you put it in wrong, it wont turn on. so plug it in and hit the switch. if it turns on, your good. if not, pull it out and turn it around. Now you just need to tape up your wire mess and clean it up a little. I taped my load resistors to the headlights to get them out of the way... now put the headlights back on and enjoy.

I'll stick with my silverstars thank you. Be careful when pulling the headlight out I broke the long plastic piece that goes into a hole in the body.

Mine doesnt have a "hat" either did frenchys... And Pro4X4, thats cool, I looked at the silverstars. They werent bright enough for me. Besides the LEDs will last 2-3 times longer and consume less energy. :-D

i really do love my silverstar turn signals. i wouldnt be opposed to the leds though. main reason i got these over leds is bc it was a 2 second install and well, thats the main reason. when the burn out, i probably will turn to leds...the silverstars compared to the stockers look 100x's better when off and when on...i would explain them as a deeper, darker, more vibrant orange...and yes, no hat on the turns, but i do have a hat on my drivers lights...those are silverstars also and thats right, you better get night shots tonight!

yup, I will... it sucks that it doesnt get dark till like 9:30 now... lol I like the fact that my turns are not amber anymore... Now I am just waiting for my headlights to come in. then I will be good to go with what I have. then I only have 1 more set of lights for the front. Anyone have a link to the fire/ice bar?

Mine has the hat too... Eric, I've heard that those load resistors get very hot over time and shouldn't be mounted to plastic. You may want to check your lights after a while and make sure the resistors aren't melting the plastic.

yeah, I am actually thinking about mounting them to the frame rail... but I have to extend the wire and I dont have any laying around. I will do it permanantly when I get my 8500K headlights later this week/weekend... here are some night pics...
