biggest mud tire for st0ck suspension?? - 10/3/2004 10:35:04 PM    tanker   Posts: 11 Joined: 10/3/2004 Status: offline hey every1, i just picked up an 04 quadcab 4x4 a couple weeks ago, i was wondering, what is the biggest tire size i can run, with no rubing?... 33's, 35's?....also.. i havnt read much into it, but whats the lug spacing for the rims?..etc... etc...? thanks in advance! _____________________________ 04 quadcab dak0ta Post #: 1

Very tight fit, but no trimming necessary. I think the engine bay is the same on all 4.7's whether 2wd or 4wd. I have a 3 inch body lift and cranked the torsion bars up 1.5", and I still had to trim the mud flaps and front bumper to get clearance for 305 70 R-16's which is the same size as 33 12.50's. Although I have a front bumper cover on my truck, I,m not sure if it would clear the stock bumper or not but it would be close. My tires also scrub the frame at full turn, so I wouldn't go over a 285 or a 32" tire on a stock truck. _____________________________ 2000 4x4 4.7 light driftwood Dakota SLT CC. 3.55..
