I'm due for my first oil change since I've had my truck, it is a '03 Ram with a 3.7 V-6. What grade, and quanity of oil does the truck take...and what Fram oil filter Number should I use? Thanks in advance.

The oil cap will specify grade of oil to use. Mine says 5w20. However, I personally use Penzioil Platnum 5W30. I think the fram # is 3600. However, I would recomend using the Bosch Premeum filter or the OEM Mopar filter. NAPA GOLD is also a really good filter. Im not knocking Frams, just do not personally like them.

I used 4.5 qts. It says 5 in the manual, but my needle stays put in the middle at 4.5.
