Default wierd problem or not

ok here is what happened, I have a 02 4.7 4X4 SXT 59000k or 36000 miles for my american friends, everything is good (oil pressure) etc engine runs so quiet and smooth u dont even know it is runing at times ..but anyway, last oil change was at 52000 k so I said what the heck went out and got a filter and mobil 1 5w30 full synthetic (since everyone hear seems to like it), it had dino oil in just so u know

changed the oil K&N filter and mobil 1, starts up and no noise runs just like before quiet as a mouse

buuutttt!!!!!!!!!!!! after running on highway and getting engine fully warmed up etc. i pull into work and i am a little early, so I roll down the window to light a smoke and I hear tick, tick, tick WTF!!! better oil makes my engine tick

I only get this noise when engine is hot(no noise tick when engine is cold or cool), with the change to mobil1 my oil pressure is slightly higher than with the old oil (but that is normal from what I have seen from other other cars)

this is not the injector noise, I can hear and feel the little tick on the injector

any ideas ? ever heard of it before or maybe a heavier weight oil say 5w40 or 5w50 for more protection when hot, or what the hell just go back to dino oil my engine will stay quiet

any help or ideas would be great

Troy

Well you need to be running 10w30. Was the engine off when it was ticking because if so that is normal.
