Put the flow 40 back on and the sound is gone. Overpowered by the muffler. I'll see if my MPG suffers with the Flows.

Thanks for the pics. I'm still debating on doing this or just getting a ebay intake with a k&n filter. First the dealer needs to figure out my check engine light problem. It's been back to the dealer 3 times for this and its theretoday. The truck only has 4k on it too. I don't want to worry about warranty stuff and having to swith from aftermarket back to stock if I have to take it to the dealer every month.

Well, from what I have read, there are big time specials being given by the dealers on top of the $5000 cashback from Dodge. So, if they cant fix it, tell them to take it back and give you a V8 4.7L with the specials. You might break even, continue your payments with an upgraded truck.

That would be sweet. Maybe they actually found something this time. The first two times they said it was nothing that it threw a code for no reason. It normally only takes them an hour or so and they call telling me that I can pick it up. They didn't call today for 7 hours and I missed the call and they didn't leave a message when in the past they always have.

I know you said that the truck sounded louder without the tube on the intake and you got better mpg but did you notice any diff in power. It seems to be thatmost people on herethatput on an aftermarket intake noticed atleast a little bit better power. Just wondering if without an aftermarket filter you noticed anything?
