Wahoo, all I gotta say is, wow, this thing FLOWS!!!

The low setting is pushing out 2500cfpm and the high, which I still haven't hooked up the switch to yet, flows 5000+.

It's audible on the high setting, and hardly audible on low...

I'll have install pics, as well as a write up, hopefully tonight...

Hopefully... oh, and my grill center is painted too!!!

Now, all you have to know, is this not done with any temperature probes or anything, just hardwired through relays and what have you...

So this will be different than, like a Flex-a-Lite fan with their wiring setup...

I'm uploading my pics now...

Ok guys, help out an old fart. What is the benefit of this electric fan over the stock fan?

from what Frenchy said it's a power upgrade, frees up some horses by not relying on the engine to turn the fan...wha ti got out of frenchy's description

Yes.. there is a clutch fan, that is ALWAYS running when the engine is spinning, and this causes extra power loss, as the engine is working harder to turn something... with this fan, the engine no longer turns the clutch fan, and frees up somewhere around 5-15 hp....

And helps with mpgs! :D

Jimbo, PM me your address, so I can send you that money!

yeah,  you take out the stock fan and replace it with this one...  I have heard gains are from 3-10 HP depending on your setup...  but I see how you could pull 15...  after cams and everything else...  ;-)

Hey Frenchy, post the info on it in the MOD TALK thread with instructions and parts needed and some pics.  This post will disappear after a few day.

Good job.  What type of vehicle was that off of?
